Reebok enters multi-year deal with Amelie Mauresmo, biggest name in womens' tennis

reebok signed a multi-year partnership with one of the biggest names in women's tennis, amelie mauresmo.

taking the tennis world by storm, french phenom mauresmo was ranked no. 1 in the world in 2004 and is currently ranked no. 3. the 5'9", 25 year-old originally from st. germains en laye, france will be the newest global athlete to be featured in reebok's "i am what i am" campaign.

in 1998, as a virtually unknown 19-year-old player, amelie demonstrated her strength and perseverance by becoming the lowest ranked player in history to defeat two of the world's top three players in the same tournament, lindsay davenport & jana novotna. in september of 2004, mauresmo became the first french tennis player ever to reach the no.1 ranking. with 16 wta tour singles titles and an olympic silver medal to her name, mauresmo has been a consistent contender in the quarter and semi finals of the grand slam events over the past three years.
