Farrell launches at Selfridges for AW12 collection

Farrell, the brand inspired by Jack Farrell and devised by his grandson Robbie Williams, launched at Selfridges with its AW12 collection. 

The heritage and military-inspired collection is dedicated to true British style and includes three pieces designed exclusively for Selfridges - a double-breasted camel overcoat, midnight blue frock coat and grey tweed trousers.
 
Farrell is inspired by Robbie Williams’ grandfather, Jack Farrell - a notable dresser whose honesty, good manners and a sense of humour form the foundation of the brand. Designed for men who like a bit of snap in their clothing, Farrell delivers classic wardrobe staples with the motto ‘Wear it in, Wear it out’ in mind.
 
The Head of Design is former Burberry Design Director Ben Dickens who works hand in hand with Robbie.
 
Robbie Williams comments: “Ben Dickens arrived bringing his optimism, passion and vision to my granddad’s clothing line. The more we talk, the more ideas we throw around - it's exciting. It's very similar to making an album, after all that's what an album is? It's an idea. What is art? It's an idea, as are clothes.”
