India orientates its offer towards clothing in Paris

ApparelSourcing Paris will be presenting 150 international exhibitors at the next show from 17 to 20 September at Le Bourget with a wide range of products with half from Asia (Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, Pakistan, Vietnam) and half from Europe (Belgium, France, Hungary, Portugal, Sweden) as well as Mauritius and the USA.

Michael Scherpe, President of Messe Frankfurt France, emphasises: “We have given a strong boost to the exhibition with ranges that are even more international, with new target countries for sourcing such as Mauritius, Sweden, Japan and Hungary.”

There is also a balanced range of products with: womenswear representing 50%, 30% are menswear and childrenswear and 20% are fashion accessories.

• Duratex is an interesting company for shirting with several lines of shirts and is already working for Wrangler and Benetton in Europe.

• Paramount produces mid-range sweaters and T-shirts.

• Stalwart develops mid-range collections of hoodies and polo shirts.

The CCPIT-Tex is counting on new Chinese regions for sourcing Around 85 Chinese exhibitors grouped under the CTAF banner organised by the CCPIT-Tex will be displaying a broad variety of clothing collections (menswear – womenswear – children) and fashion accessories.

This year, the CCPIT-Tex has expanded its exploration of the market to new regions for sourcing in China, like the two huge provinces of Fujian and Guangdong, in order

to offer European buyers a good selection of Chinese products.

In order to respond to strong demand as is the case with fashion accessories, CCPIT-Tex is on the lookout for new manufacturers to boost its range. Among the firms that will be at ApparelSourcing Paris, there are three that have caught our attention for their creativity:

• Beyond Garments Co. Ltd and Ningbo Mondiland Co Ltd will be showing high-end men’s suits in outstanding quality fabrics that come from Italy.

• Nantong Merry Textile Co Ltd, with its fine collection of ready-to-wear for women.
