Following its debut at Milano Unica in February, Albini, donna – the collection for women, of the Albini Group – presents the Autumn/Winter collection, a declaration of femininity without compromises.

Structured fabrics and intense nuances, which reflect and enhance the grace and sensuality of every woman.

Delicate and romantic colours with an antique flavour, such as mauve, powder, plaster and asphalt. Family tones and refined shades co-ordinate with bolder colors. Woody nuances recall the intensity of autumnal nature, amber tones, burnt and earth colours offer tactile sensations that recall the silk, followed by the palette of neutrals and clay, which combine with indigo to create beautiful contrasts of colour, and ending with the “false blacks” blueberry, teal, gunmetal, ebony.

The use of different materials, in different weight, gives rise to fabrics ideal not only for shirts, but also for clothing and apparel for a more structured woman's wardrobe. Combinations of the most precious raw materials become innovative fabrics, stretch cotton, cotton mixed with silk, pure silk, silk/cotton lurex, twill wool/viscose and viscose/silk, and there is always the beautiful crêpe de chine, crêpe satin, and stretch silk twill stretch. Of particularly notable refinement: cotton/wool, flam linen/silk/wool, and a double-faced wool/silk.

In terms of graphic, the attention is focused on fabrics with geometric decoration: false plains, end on end, jacquard and fil-coupe, micro-stripes and large Madras checks which reinvent the tradition that is born from a strong personality.

The printed fabrics are large in scale this season, with a renewed interest in flocking, pleated silk, glitter, geometric motifs and precious devoré fabrics which add a hint of sensuality, playing with transparency and creating original proposals. The series closes with printed silk denim/cotton and silk presented in a washed out indigo couture version, which will be widely developed in the summer season.

The research, graphic interpretations and techniques mix to create innovative graphic contrasts of black and white, metallic effects, corrosion in mono or multicolor, polka dots, micro and small floral designs in Art Nouveau style, always expertly colored.

Albini, donna continues its path towards the establishment of a new universal code for feminine elegance. The password: research, in its meaning of most noble and creative.
