Following the announcement on October 1st of the appointment of Brian McBride as Chairman, ASOS announces further Board changes.

Kate Bostock will be joining the company and Board in January 2013 as Executive Director, Product and Trading.  Kate was most recently Executive Director, General Merchandise and a main Board Director of Marks and Spencer (M&S) and previously held senior roles at George at ASDA and Next.

Robert Bready, Product Director, has resigned from the Board after seven years, and is leaving the company to pursue fresh challenges. Rob played a formative role in the growth of the company during which the ASOS retail team grew from 20 to over 350 people.

Nick Robertson, ASOS CEO said

"I'd like to thank Rob for his significant contribution to the company. He played a major role in the development of the ASOS story and I and the rest of the board are very grateful to him.

Our Product and Trading team now exceeds 350 people. We are fortunate to have Kate bring us her wealth of experience from some of the biggest names in retailing as we strengthen our retail disciplines and put in place the structures needed to manage the next phase of our growth."

Kate Bostock said

"ASOS is a phenomenon and I'm in awe of the story. With its unique mix of own label and fashion forward brands delivered online and increasingly through mobile, the potential for ASOS globally is huge. I'm very excited to be joining at such a time of immense opportunity".

ASOS is a global online fashion and beauty retailer and offers on the ASOS website over 50,000 branded and own label product lines across womenswear, menswear, footwear, accessories, jewellery and beauty. ASOS has websites targeting the UK, USA, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia and also ships to over 190 other countries from its central distribution centre in the UK.
