G&K Services Inc. announced that G&K Services Canada was named one of the 50 Best Employers in Canada for the ninth consecutive year. This recognition is based on a study conducted by Aon Hewitt, the global human resources consulting and outsourcing solutions business of Aon Corporation, in which they confidentially surveyed employees and leadership teams at companies across Canada.

"It is truly exciting to receive this recognition for the ninth consecutive year," said Robert Wood, President of G&K Services Canada. "Our team members continue to be highly engaged and these results, nine years in a row, are a true expression of that engagement. Year after year the message from our team is loud and clear, ‘G&K is a great company to work for and a company that I am proud to be a part of.’”

G&K Services Canada has a long history of excellence, both as an employer and as a leading provider of uniforms and facility services. The company is the market leader in Canada, employing approximately 1,300 people.

“We are proud to be recognized as a Best Employer again this year,” said Douglas A. Milroy, Chief Executive Officer of G&K Services, Inc. “G&K has a highly capable and experienced team which is the cornerstone of our company’s success.”

This year's 50 Best Employers in Canada survey was based on responses from nearly 190,000 employees at 280 Canadian employers. The 2013 list of the Best Employers in Canada will appear in the October 29, 2012 issue of Maclean's magazine and the November 20, 2012 edition of La Presse.

G&K Services, Inc. is a service-focused market leader of branded uniform and facility services programs in the United States, and is the largest such provider in Canada. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, G&K Services has nearly 7,800 employees serving approximately 165,000 customers from 160 facilities in North America.
