Komar to acquire innerwear brand Le Mystère

Charles Komar, President and CEO of Komar, a third- generation, family-owned apparel company, announced the signing of a letter of intent to acquire substantially all the assets of Le Mystère, LLC. The terms of the transaction will allow for Le Mystère to satisfy liabilities to vendors and other trade creditors. The transaction is expected to close within the next 4 days.

Charles Komar says “We have admired the Le Mystère brand for many years and look forward to adding this brand to our growing portfolio in Komar Intimates and plan to expand the Le Mystère label to our sleepwear and loungewear lines.” Michael Rabinowitz, President and founder of Le Mystère who was introduced on Oprah’s TV program as the inventor of her favourite bra “Tisha” by Le Mystère, says “We are delighted that Komar will support our core business and further the growth of Le Mystère as one of the leading brands in women’s intimate apparel.”

Komar is a consumer products company, specializing in the design, marketing, sourcing and distribution of sleepwear, loungewear, intimates, and layering products. The company is an industry leader across a diverse range of competitive retail categories. Komar is proud to represent more than 100 lifestyle brands and licenses through their retail partners, which sell worldwide at every price point.
