Seat 14A is a brand new concept in men’s fashion that allows men to pursue fashion trends and style beyond their time zone. Seat 14A features ensembles that are centered around hyper local trends, in particular cities or regions and chosen based on its appeal to the global market.

Most items are sourced and manufactured at origin. “We have found that most men want to find unique items that reflect their personal style while not breaking the bank, and who wouldn’t want a stylist to help them choose what would look best?” said co-founder Nav Chatterji.

Seat 14A offers a unique experience for the fashion forward male. Once a desired base ensemble is chosen, in less than 24 hours a Seat 14A stylist begins to put together a customized outfit based on the client's needs.

Seat 14A stylists’ work with clients to ensure that each desired ensemble showcases a client's individual style and personality, while being trend and fashion focused. A client is only charged and shipped the ensemble once they have approved the final look.

A recent report by iProspect suggests that 40% of the 19 million affluent males in the US spend $30,000 annually on online purchases. This increase in online buying power is seen around the world. A study in Australia says that from 2008 to 2011, male online spending has increased from $180 to $242.

Men around the world are shopping online and buying more frequently with a greater spend than their female counterparts, than ever before. Not only are men online, they are also looking for edited and curated collections that fit their personal style.

Seat 14A allows men to have guided experiences of fashion culture from around the world at an affordable price. A beta test was conducted for the Seat 14A’s inaugural collection based on Delhi, India called “Hauz Khas Hipster”, named after a trendy village in Delhi.

The base ensemble consisted of cotton drawstring pants, leather handmade slippers, a cotton scarf, and beaded accessories. Seat 14A has since launched three other collections: Tibet - “The Tibetan Poet”, Nagaland - “Naga Chic”, and France - “Toulousain Grunge”.

All collections have a base ensemble that can be customized by color, fabric or style to fit the individual patron. This is done by an expert stylist who understands global trend and men’s style.
