Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics 2013 will return from 27 – 29 March 2013 at the China International Exhibition Centre. With the continued growth of the apparel fabrics and accessories industry in China, the show is expected to continue to grow in 2013. A new record of over 1,300 exhibitors from 16 countries / regions has already been confirmed.

In 2012, the show was also well attended by over 26,000 visitors from 78 countries regions. This year, exhibitors will showcase an extensive collection of fabrics for suiting, shirting; ladies wear, functional and sportswear, casual wear as well as accessories across an exhibition space of 50,000 sqm.

European craftsmanship by high-end apparel fabric and accessory producers will be showcased at SalonEurope

The special area SalonEurope will occupy 6,000 sqm of exhibition space, covering Halls 2 and 3, an increase of 20% compared to last year. It will showcase premium apparel fabrics and accessories from European suppliers including Germany, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom as well as the unique Milano Unica Pavilion from Italy.

Since its establishment, the trade fair has been renowned for having a strong impact on the development of the apparel fabrics industry in China, gaining wide support through national and regional pavilions. Organized by the Uludag Exporters’ Association, the Turkish Pavilion will make its debut at the fair featuring high-quality cotton fabrics for shirting and wool for suitings.

The Portuguese Pavilion has also confirmed to particiate again due to the overwhelming response received from the previous edition. Organised by the Associacao Selectiva Moda, the participating companies will display an array of high-quality shirting fabrics to thrive in China market.

Milano Unica Pavilion returns with over 100 of the best Italian textile producers

The successful debut of Milano Unica Pavilion at the last Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics has encouraged more of Italy’s most well-known textile and accessory suppliers to take part in the 2013 show again. This time over 100 of the best Italian textile producers will present the latest fashionable textiles and accessories for womenswear and menswear.

In order to enhance collaboration between organisers of Intertextile Apparel Fabrics and Milano Unica from 2013 – 2015, a three-year partnership agreement was signed last October at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics 2012.

According to Ms Wendy Wen, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd,  “We have received a lot of positive comments about the potential business opportunities that arose from the participation of the Milano Unica pavilion last year. This partnership will definitely be a continuous effort to integrate high quality and well-made Italian textile products to a burgeoning Chinese marketplace.”
