Sloggi unveils Love Weather & Weather Girl innerwear line

There’s only one thing in the world that comes close to the vivid, vibrant colors of nature and that’s a new collection of sloggi underwear! Small wonder that when it comes to looking ultra-cool and feeling ultra-comfortable, Asia’s hippest young women look to sloggi for undergarments that share their care for the environment! With 2011’s ‘Love World’ eco-awareness initiative and 2012’s highly popular ‘Love Wild’ collection, sloggi showed that fashionably fun and comfortable ladies’ apparel was just the start.

The latest way the brand is enabling wearers to ‘walk the environmentally-responsible talk’ by helping to conserve precious finite resources will be with the March 2013 launch of two new ‘Love Weather’ and ‘Weather Girl’ collections. Also available at the same time, sloggi’s colorful ‘Invisible’ and ‘Invisible Sense’ spring color series are sure to prove equally irresistible.

Each vivid, vibrant ‘Love Weather’ and ‘Weather Girl’ garment is alive with sloggi’s hallmark playful design motifs and is made from high-quality organic cotton and Italian Sensitive Fabric. The charming end result is character-filled undergarments that are not only fun to wear but also live up to the brand’s ‘wear and believe’ and ‘pay it forward’ credos.

“Chic and cheerful, with an effervescent ‘feel-good factor’, our new ‘Love Weather’ and ‘Weather Girl’ collections both deliver the comfort and design features for which we are renowned in spades”, said sloggi Head of Brand Asia, Mr. Harald Hinderberger. “Manufactured using technologically advanced eco-friendly processes, Sensitive Fabric and Organic Cotton have the characteristics of natural silk, offering a supreme level of comfort that is also lightweight, silky-soft and breathable. Best of all, when you wear our latest collections, you’re not only taking good care of your body but also the planet!” Mr. Hinderberger added.

Once again shouting out their support for Sensitive Fabric’s Italian manufacturer, sloggi and its wearers are reinforcing an environmental commitment that includes close ties to the World Land Trust non-profit organization. To date, the tie-in has seen sloggi lovers play a starring role in protecting endangered plants, animals, birds, reptiles and insects in a 3,763-hectare eco-care project area between Brazil, Paraguay and North East Argentina. Unique wonders that have benefited as a result of such thoughtfulness include the legendary Mocona Falls. As at Nov 20, 2012, sloggi and its brand loyalists had already helped to save some 77,370 m2 of this irreplaceable area!

‘Love Weather’ and ‘Weather Girl’ collections and accompanying ‘Invisible’ and ‘Invisible Sense’ Spring color will be available at Triumph Boutiques and all major department stores from March 2013 onwards.
