Girard, Winner of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance joins the long list of hot new celebrity designers at Sugar and Bruno.

Sugar and Bruno is proud to welcome America's favorite female dancer, Eliana Girard, to the Sugar and Bruno Family. Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Eliana started dancing at the age of 3 and has never stopped. Her dance specialty is contemporary ballet but she has shown the world that she is capable of excelling at whatever she puts her mind to. Eliana shines in all she does, from performing with the Cirque Du Soleil as an elite aerialists and now designing clothing with S&B.

“It is great to have a girl like Eliana on the team. Not only is she a driven and passionate athlete, but she is an amazing person, the type of person we want our brand tied to.” said Sugar and Bruno's VP, Steve Powers. "Eliana has already brought a fresh new look to our brand right out of the gate with some great designs in our Spring Collection and she is just getting started."

Eliana started training at a young age and studied all types of dance including classical ballet, jazz, modern and acrobatics. She graduated from Dreyfoos High School of the Arts and continued to train at the American Ballet Theater, the Joffrey Ballet School and the Alvin Ailey School in New York City. She performed for three years as an aerialist with Cirque Du Soleils Viva ELVIS in Las Vegas and was recently voted America's favorite female dancer on season 9 of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance. Eliana will also be dancing for the amazing Taylor Swift on her tour this year so she is a very busy girl.

"I am so grateful to be a part of the Sugar and Bruno family", said Eliana. "They are such incredible people with amazing creativity. I'm so excited for this opportunity and can't wait for everyone to see what this brand is all about!"

Eliana's new line will be available on Valentine’s Day (February 14th, 2013) as part of the Sugar and Bruno Spring Collection.

Eliana joins Sugar and Bruno's amazing team of celebrity designers including Kathryn McCormick (Step up Revolution, Fame, SYTYCD#6 ), Chelsie Hightower (ABC's Dancing With The Stars, SYTYCD #4), Keltie Colleen (The Bachelor, Disney's Enchanted, The Rockettes), Stacey Tookey (Emmy nominated choreographer SYTYCD and SYTYCDC), Mollee Gray (SYTYCD#6)(Disney's HS Musical 1,2&3, Disney's Teen Beach Musical - 2013) and Kent Boyd(SYTYCD#7, Bun Heads, Disney's Teen Beach Musical-2013).

Sugar and Bruno was launched in 2007 by its parent company, Progressive Design Apparel, Inc (founded 1989). S&B designs, manufactures and distributes dance inspired products and clothing, and recently expanded its reach to fashion and teen street-wear markets.
