Fendi launches new winter kids collection

Precious Little Girl –Sophisticated tones of hydrangea and plum, combined with the classic elegance of beige and black, and a hint of lilac and bright fuchsia. Precious appliqués, such as crystals, on ‘Baguette’ embroidery and the necks of chiffon dresses, finished with a fur trim for an extremely up-to-date and glam look.

Little silk dresses printed with graphics borrowed from the adult collection and inspired by Lego, or draped velvet pinafore dresses with an all over ton sur ton logo for a shiny/matt effect.

Velvet and tulle dresses, tutu skirts nod to the ethereal and elegant world of dance, to be worn with knitted sweaters worked with a contrasting macro logo inlay or T-shirts with watercolour effect graphics.

Embroidered macro sequins create geometric effects on flared dresses in silk organza. An argyle inlay with hearts makes for sweet and romantic knitwear on maxi-sweaters and small sweaters, and many matching accessories. The selected colourful Mongolian fur is as fluffy as a cloud, used for elegant mini-gilets or to trim well-defined coats.

A Walk In The Countryside –The Fendi winter calls for natural tones and reinterprets the colours of the forest and countryside in a modern take for a casual chic feel. Coats, blazers, shorts and micro kilts in tartan wool in shades of green, trimmed with micro piping and buttons in the iconic mahogany colour. And there are many other options for coats, such as nylon parkas in logo-camouflage print, quilted jackets with rhombus stitching and duffle coats closed with leather frogging, or cloaks with fur pom-poms.

The long and glamorous shearling jacket is extremely warm: it comes in the classic honey colour, is finished with a raw edge and fastened with hidden poppers. The squirrel, one of the Maison’s historical symbols, is now the new mascot of the junior world, and becomes a fun element embroidered into sweatshirts or inlaid into sweaters or knitted accessories, to be worn with velvet needlecord trousers or classic five pocket jeans with a canvas mini pocket showing the logo. An unusual mix of materials for knitted jersey dresses with quilted nylon flounce.

Minimal Chic –Classic blue and grey melanges mix with plum and brown and casual fabrics are united with lighter and more elegant materials, creating a linear and innovative look. Minimal dresses and Sixties-inspired mini-skirts, in knitted jersey, enhanced by suede and leather inserts. A mix of fabric and leather is also used on the flared coat with a slightly retro feel.

Double-sided bicolour fabric is used for the short, slightly flared jackets. Sophisticated knitted sweaters and mini-dresses have light silk inserts on the sides. Fleece outfits and dresses have a sporty chic feel, made in mixed colours and finished with branded micro piping and furry pom-pom drawstrings. The lines and cuts are clean and modern, the finishes and materials extremely elegant and luxurious, a clear demonstration of the Maison’s expertise, even when it comes to its youngest fans.
