"We are pleased to have an outstanding athlete like Cameron Tringale represent the Nautica brand," said Karen Murray, President of Nautica. "His energy, youthfulness, drive, and professionalism reflects the true nature of the Nautica man."
In addition to wearing the brand's apparel, Tringale will be featured in Nautica print advertising campaigns along with in-store advertising this Summer, and he will be showcased throughout the Nautica website and social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Twitter, and YouTube. Consumers are able to purchase the Tech Pique Polo online now at www.nautica.com and at participating national retailers in the United States.
Tringale competed for the first time in 2013 at the Sony Open in Honolulu on January 10th – 13th, and wore Nautica performance shirts and pants as well as belts throughout the competition. The Nautica brand logo was prominently displayed on the left chest and center back of the shirts.
"I am excited to be working with the Nautica Team," said Cameron Tringale . "The performance apparel is not only comfortable to play in, but also features styles I would wear on or off the course."
After an illustrious amateur career where Tringale was a three time NCAA All-American at Georgia Tech and a 2009 Walker Cup and Palmer Cup team member, he made his PGA Tour debut in the 2010 Sony Open in Hawaii. His best finishes were two 4th place finishes at the Farmers Insurance Open and The Greenbrier Classic, and he was ranked 56th on the PGA Tour in 2012, proving to be one of the next great professional golfers.
