Made in France by fatex 2013 turns the spotlight on exceptional know-how.
To celebrate its tenth anniversary and respond to the growing number of customers interested in French manufacturing, Made in France by fatex has organised three exhibitions (also open to the general public):
• “Création de mode, la façon made in France” (Fashion design and manufacturing “Made in France”), in the place du Palais-Royal from 9 to 11 April, featuring the work of established and emerging fashion designers (from the Designers Apartment of the Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt à Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode and students of the IFM);
• “Savoir-faire d’exception made in France” (France’s exceptional know-how), which brings together companies who have been awarded with the French government’s Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label (EPV, or Living Heritage Company),
• “Maison des savoir-faire” organised with the help of the Maison des savoir-faire et de la Création,highlighting the richness of France’s craft and industrial heritage, in the entrance hall of the Carrousel du Louvre during the show.
