Speedo new swimwear to enhance feminine curves

Speedo has unveiled the latest additions to its Speedo Sculpture collection, developed in response to research showing that women can often be reluctant to improve their fitness due to concerns about their current body shape and how they look whilst exercising.

The international survey, commissioned by the world’s leading swimwear brand, revealed that 52% of women agree they don’t feel their best in their current swimwear and 76% would like to be able to find swimwear that flatters their body shape, while 63% of women admit that feeling more confident in their swimsuit would encourage them to swim more often.

To help increase confidence, Speedo’s global research and development team, Aqualab, analysed the body shapes of no less than 5,400 women, to create a range which both physically and visually sculpts the body. This is achieved by using techniques such as allover body shaping, tummy control and bust support, as well as clever placement of print and colour.

Each new style in the Sculpture collection is trialled in the pool for up to 40 hours to guarantee the correct shaping, fit and freedom of movement for optimum comfort and confidence. The result is a range of swimwear which smoothes and shapes the body to enhance and control feminine curves, helping women to look and feel great not only whilst gliding through the water, but when walking to and from the changing room.

Among the new additions to the collection is the Speedo Sculpture Premiere Aurashine 1 Piece, which features a classic black base colour with garnet (pink) and oxid grey print which visibly shapes the body to flatter the figure.

The suit is made using shaping fabric to provide a flattering look, while intelligent garment engineering ensures that the sculpting effects of tummy control don’t adversely affect the appearance of other areas of the body.

Also new is the Speedo Premiere Spashine 1 Piece, available in a vibrant garnet (pink) colour way with a flattering and on-trend silhouette, featuring adjustable and secure straps to ensure the suit stays in place.
