The objectives of this conclave are to discuss the emerging trends in retail and e-commerce, the policies affecting retail and e-commerce, the role of Customer Relationship Management and supply chain in retail and need for training in these areas and the future of retail and e-commerce.
The conclave will facilitate information dissemination on retail and e-commerce amongst the small and medium enterprises and retailers along with young retail professionals, from leading retailers and e-commerce professionals in this sector.

With their immense industry knowledge and having experience of having seen the industry grow in the last 20 years, these speakers are expected to give realistic and workable insights on how the retail and e-commerce industry needs to gear itself to face challenges of the 21st century.
Dr. Manjunath, Director General, SVIMS, said, “India being a vast country of skewed developers i.e. fair in urban areas but weak in hinterland, will have to overcome various hurdles such as an established and efficient supply chain management system, advance customer service and related standard management while identifying high human resources to fill the vast requirements and also understanding the ramifications of the contemporary retail’s impact on the traditional Indian retail.
