Foreign exhibitors outshine Italians at Proposte

Sensitive to the problems young people face in entering the labour market, Proposte has welcomed a proposal from Biella's Città Studi learning and convention centre to promote its textile industry-related activities: more specifically, the setting up of a Masters course in Management and Textile Engineering - the only one of its kind - and the presentation of Po.in.tex, the textile innovation centre run by Città Studi. Exhibition at Como's Villa Olmo

We've made special arrangements with certain local bodies and, as a result, Como City Council - through its Culture Office - is inviting Proposte's exhibitors, agents, visitors and guests to visit the La città nuova. Oltre Sant’Elia exhibition at a special admission rate .

This exhibition organized by Marco De Michelis is spread across two sites – the stately home Villa Olmo and the Pinacoteca Civica gallery – presenting one hundred years of urban visions spanning the last century. One hundred works, including some unpublished pieces, together forming a collection of paintings, drawings, film clips and installations by artists, architects, designers and producers ranging from Sant’Elia to Boccioni and Leger, from Le Corbusier to F. L. Wright and Archizoom, to mention but a few.
