Eveden design and produce lingerie, swimwear and sports bras marketed under a number of well-known brands, including Freya, Freya Active, Fantasie, Fantasie Swim, Elomi, Fauve and Huit.

The BVCA event is part of a year-long process run by the organisation. On the night, they presented Eveden with Exit Management Team of the Year in recognition of LDC’s sale of Eveden to Japan lingerie market leader Wacoal. This new ownership meant that, in January 2013, the business changed its name from the Eveden Group to Wacoal Eveden.

At the BVCA ceremony, Eveden had further reason to celebrate as Chief Executive Tracy Lewis was named Chief Executive of the Year. This comes on the heels of other wins for Tracy, as she was also recently honoured in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for Best Consumer Product Business in the Midlands, as well as UK Private Equity-Backed Entrepreneur of the Year.

Eveden’s award wins now put them in contention for the national BVCA Awards, which are due to take place in London this July.

Eveden Chief Executive Tracy Lewis said, “I am delighted that Eveden has been presented with the BVCA Midlands award for Exit Management Team of the Year and absolutely thrilled to have been presented with Chief Executive of the Year. Winning these awards is testament to our consistent effort and achievement in developing the reach of our brands internationally. On behalf of everyone at Eveden, I’d like to thank the BVCA.”

Based in Northamptonshire, Eveden is the United Kingdom’s largest lingerie and swimwear designer and manufacturer. The company specialises in catering for sizes up to a K cup and their wide portfolio of best-selling brands includes Freya, Fantasie, Fauve, Elomi, Goddess and Huit. Eveden is the market leader of fuller bust and full figure collections throughout Europe, North America and Australia.

About Freya

Freya designs lingerie, loungewear, swimwear and sports bras especially designed to offer fit and support for women with larger bust sizes. Their range is available up to a K cup and includes balcony, plunge and strapless bras.
