Gardeur to unveil S/S denim line with innovative prints

In Spring/Summer 2014 Atelier GARDEUR will be presenting the denim trend theme in all variations, innovative prints and an extended range of shape products. Colours continue on the scene though in a more subdued form. This means intense cupcake colours take over from the bold tones of Summer 2013.

Black and white provide a strong duo gaining additional power with lemon yellow. Alongside this, natural colours like clay, gravel, olive or khaki paint the picture here. The Silhouette remains narrow – whether as a knee-length 5-pocket, cigarette chinos, biker pants – or as cargo pants.

The Themes

“It’s all Denim” – Summer 2014 belongs to denim! Atelier GARDEUR will be presenting this fabric in a trendy used look with authentic washes or in new bleached tones like supersky or pale grey tones. Key here are decorative elements: alongside studs embroidery is also a major theme – in coordinating tones as broderie anglaise or contrasting ones in a lace look. New to the fray is real colour denim with a pale warp and coloured weft. Floral and ornamental laser looks are innovative – either as allover patterns or partially placed on jeans.

“Print it!” – Prints remain on the scene but will now feature in a new slant. The focus here lies on 5-pocket drain pipes with graphic, floral and ornamental prints in black and white, colourful or as a two-colour print. The range of patterns spans foliage, floral and reptile designs through to Paisley and classic blue and white Delft tiles.

New are partial prints. Alongside this Atelier GARDEUR features narrow chinos with coordinating tie or floral patterns or graphically printed pyjama styles. Atelier GARDEUR is further developing its successful “Shape” range supplementing it with “Authentic Shape” – shape jeans in authentic washes – and the exclusive fitness innovation “Active Shape”, jeans with body-activating properties.

The worldwide patented fibre Emana by Rhodia absorbs natural body heat thanks to its bioactive minerals and emits remote infrared rays which interact with the body. In so doing they stimulate the metabolism, promote circulation and act as a daily workout.
