Peruvian apparel firms to partake in Italian trade fair

Apparel companies from the South American country of Peru will participate in the international trade fair Pitti Immagine Filati that will be held in Florence city, Italy, from July 3-5, 2013.
 
The Manufacturing Management unit of the Peruvian Exporters Association (ADEX) will organize the visit for the Peruvian apparel companies to various regions of Italy.
 
During their visit, the Peruvian team will explore new fashion trends and potential markets for their knitwear collections.
 
The Peruvian knitwear company owners will visit Italian apparel companies, design schools and also participate in business conferences with members of the Italian apparel industry.
 
The Pitti Immagine Filati fair is an international trade fair which provides a platform for designers and apparel companies from the knitwear industry to showcase their collections.
 
This year the trade fair will host its 73rd edition and will feature a preview of yarn collections for the knitwear industry for the upcoming 2014-15 fall/winter season.
 
For this year’s edition the trade fair will showcase works of brands like Code, Julia Pines, Yellow Minnow and Peclers Paris.
 
In its previous edition, the event attracted more than 4,600 buyers and visitors from countries including Germany, France, Spain, Japan, the US and the UK.
