This significant increase should become clearer in the weeks to come, and has already broken the record of 745 exhibitors registered for September 2012.
Among the weavers presenting their Autumn/Winter 2014-15 collections, the show will welcome 26 new companies, each rigorously selected. Evaluated on the basis of their creativity, know-how, quality of service and financial reliability, their applications have been validated by a Selection Committee comprised of international experts and weavers.
Selectiveness, appeal and loyalty: Première Vision confirms its role as a global leader
Faced with the quality required of the Première Vision offer, this season once again very few new companies were selected. Many, from across the globe, were in the running, confirming the strong appeal of Première Vision internationally.
The increasing number of participation requests, coupled with a high degree of loyalty from exhibitors from season to season, testify to the solidity and substance of the show, and confirm its leading role on the international fashion scene.
It also demonstrates how essential it is today for companies to take on international markets. And with 73% international visitors, Première Vision is the ideal venue for fabric professionals seeking to develop and enhance their business, initiate discussions and gain visibility with key sector players.
Also this season there was a renewed dynamism in terms of European companies, which, despite a still challenging economic environment, applied in number to the show, with Italy at the forefront, followed by Turkish and South Korean weavers.
Another indication of Première Vision’s essential role is the return after several seasons away of the Prato converter Manifattura Première (Italy), French lace maker Jabouley (France) and the Scottish and Italian weavers Alexanders of Scotland and Cerrus.
Knitwear Solutions:
A third promising and expanding edition Last February, Knitwear Solutions confirmed the legitimacy of its role at Première Vision. In September, for its third edition, the platform dedicated to creative knitwear will definitively demonstrate the full part it has to play at the show.
With 50 exhibitors already registered, including 24 new companies to date, Knitwear Solutions shows a remarkable growth in the number of its exhibitors. By rounding out the Première Vision textile offer, and through a cutting-edge and creative international selection of knitters, spinners, knit studios (at Indigo) and a machine manufacturer, this space provides a concrete response to designers and buyers specialised in flatbed knits.
