Bergans to unveil innovative jackets at Outdoor Retailer

At the indoor portion of the show the complete 2014 Spring/Summer product line will be in the booth. 

Bergans will be launching...

A super lightweight jacket called the Air, featuring Pertex Quantum GL,  

The Airojohka, a lightweight hiking jacket using Toray's Dermizax NX, a premium non-porous waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane,  

The Unte Collection - A line of pants, pirate/capri and shorts for hiking, climbing, and summer use.

Air Jacket

Super-lightweight, windproof breathable jacket made of the newest Pertex Quantum GL fabric. The perfect jacket for backpacking or endurance sports where minimal packing volume, a great strength to weight ratio, and wind protection is needed. The Air has a fixed hood with friction elastic, a chest pocket (which functions as a stuff sack) and a translucent sheen.

AiroJohka Jacket

The Airojohka is a 3-layer lightweight backpacking and hiking shell made of Dermizax NX, a non-porous waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane. It provides optimum protection from the wind and weather and has excellent wicking properties. It features 4-way stretch nylon outer fabric for freedom of movement, extended back, fixed hood with high collar, and laser cut and welded waterproof seams.

Unte Pants and Shorts

Lightweight moisture wicking quick-drying 4-way stretch hiking pants, pirate/capri and shorts in a broad range of colors in men's and women's sizes and designs. Pants feature articulated knees and a zip gusset cuff for adjusting lower leg width. The Pirate/capri versions hit just below the knee with a 16" inseam and also feature an articulated knee. The shorts hit just above the knee with an 11.5" inseam.
