Gabriella Rossetti launches high-end line for size 12-22

Yet remarkably, fewer than 15 percent of finer brands offer larger than size 12.There’s a void in the apparel market and shapelier, curvier women are being penalized. Gabriella Rossetti is filling that market gap with the sophisticated, well-made clothing women seek.

The company was named in reference to the painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti, whose lush, gorgeous paintings glorify voluptuous women. The company’s collections mirror his passion.

Size 14 is the US average, but more than 60 percent of women size 12 and over say they can’t find clothing of the same caliber as in standard sizes. Additionally,

- More U.S. women report wearing a size 16 dress than a size 2 and 0 combined.

- 57% of U.S. women wear at least some clothing in sizes 16 and above.

- U.S. women who primarily wear sizes 16 and above indicate that they buy over 50% more of their clothing online compared to women who only wear standard sizes.
