Country Road Woman spring/summer 2013 explores geometry, texture and a progression of print in a modern collection with signature, effortless style.

White heralds the new season; milky tones expertly contrast with striking black across tuxedo jackets, tailored pants and belted, trans-seasonal trenches or deliver a clean backdrop for hand-sketched geometric studies on sharp silhouettes.

Exclusive prints and ornate detailing share the spotlight with orient inspired hues as monochrome floral is accented by emperor red and jewel green. Conversational graphic prints take over easy sundresses and sweats. Scarf prints channel the 50s alongside french blue stripes and cotton lace.

Accessories bring polka dot bags, pattern totes, exotic fish skin leather sandals, brilliant textured belts andvibrant scarves.

Styled with a touch of 60s sensibility, soft peplums and romantic flounces compliment the clean lines of modern shifts and crop shell tops. Dresses are reinvented with open cutouts and subtle ruffle sleeves while skirts feature a feminine petal hem or a slim body con silhouette. New pyjama inspired pants are paired with softly structured jackets and vests, signaling the success of relaxed tailoring from work to weekend.

Vintage sportswear and urban outerwear blur the line between occasion and casual dressing; varsity jackets, soft bombers, contemporary parkas and cut-sleeve vests add metropolitan edge. Hardworking separates anchor the range as polished shorts, denim biker jeans and sculptural knitwear dress up or down to take her seamlessly from day into night. Studded suede high tops and embellished t-bar sandals add the finishing touch.
