Gardeur presents ultra-light cotton trousers for men

For the 2014 Spring/Summer season the trouser specialists at Atelier GARDEUR will be presenting two ultralight men’s trousers for the first time.

These items are made of finest cotton and weigh in about 30 % less than conventional cotton trousers. Thanks to their air-permeable fabric and moisture-controlling function they offer outstanding wear properties.

They are easy care and require a minimum of space – for instance in travellers’ luggage.

Atelier GARDEUR Ultralight Cotton trousers are available in two different qualities: elastic and dimensionally stable. The elastic version (Art. 41071) is a blend of very fine cotton with Japanese polyester-microfibre. This mixture – with a weight of as little as 200 g per running metre – is light, comfortable and breathable.

The dimensionally stable version (Art. 40913) is made of a special, extra-fine yarn – in fact the same material as fishing line – that ensures particularly high tear resistance and gives trousers that extra bit of body and strength. When blended with Pima cotton this yarn is particularly soft and boasts a minimum weight of as low as 170 g per running metre.

Atelier GARDEUR Ultralight Cotton trousers in both versions come as flat-front Benny styles with a Modern Fit. Atelier GARDEUR offers them in the colours beige, sand and light and medium grey.

In addition to their Ultralight Cotton trousers Atelier GARDEUR also presents other lightweights in its men’s collection: informally lightweight BeCool denim pants, a stretch hybrid denim and the breathable Traveller Coolmax Stretch featuring special cooling and moisture control.
