Aug '13
Ike Behar has licensed PS Brands/Planet Sox for men’s dress socks in the U.S. and Canada. The first socks will be in stores by March 2014 and full collection will follow for fall 2014.

Ike Behar president Alan Behar commented, “While Ike Behar is best known for the heritage of fine dress shirts and coordinating neckwear, our goal continues to be to present the totality of the Ike Behar brand as a full collection of dress furnishings, tailored clothing, sportswear and accessories. This agreement moves us one step further. Planet Sox has an enviable position as one of the world’s largest makers of hosiery for the entire family. This fine company enhances our total brand and we look forward to growing this fashion accessory category with their very capable team.”

Plant Sox CEO Elie Levy added, “For over fifty years, Ike Behar has been bringing design excellence to men’s furnishings. With fashion socks becoming a wardrobe staple, we feel it is the perfect time to forge an alliance with this iconic designer.”

PS Brands/Planet Sox is a designer and manufacturer of private label and branded socks. Its licensed brands include Fila, Esprit, Kensie, Hind, Disney and Sport Essentials. PS Brands was founded in 1994. The company announced a new license for Head socks earlier this month.
