Academy Sports + Outdoors signs deal with two universities

The sponsorship was brokered by IMG College, the multimedia rights partner of the University of Florida and Florida State University.

In addition to carrying officially licensed products for both universities, Academy Sports + Outdoors offers a wide selection of sports, outdoors and lifestyle products for active-minded families that help them participate in the activities that they love.

Academy opened its first Tallahassee store in August 2012 and currently has a total of four stores in Florida – two located in Jacksonville, one in Pensacola and one in Tallahassee. A third store in Jacksonville is slated to open prior to the holiday season.
