As the only intimate apparel catwalk to take place at Graduate Fashion Week, De Montford's leading talents set precedence for the industries finest lingerie designers of the future. Red Box Lingerie's founder Sue Parker has been interviewing the students and viewing the collections, sparked by interest in the Fashion Week performances.
"We have some of the most creative talented people entering the intimate apparel world, with exceptional style and attention to detail these are some of the most high quality collections in the world", said Sue Parker Founder of Red Box Lingerie.
"Similarly to our outerwear, lingerie should never be boring, it plays a huge role in our self expression, so it makes sense that the fashion of underwear is also evolving.”
Sue adds, "We will undoubtedly see more lingerie collections on the catwalks of London Fashion Week, and this is a really exciting addition that we are already seeing with pret a porter labels. We know from studies that the clothes we wear affect the way we feel. Being women, we also know how our underwear can give us an amazing boost in confidence."
RBL will showcase the designers during NEW Talent Month kicking off Monday 23rd September.
