Colombia gears up for fashion & business forum on Oct 30

The Institute for Exports and Fashion (INEXMODA) of Colombia, in its commitment to develop the fashion and apparel industry of the country, would be hosting the second edition of the Latin American Strategy Forum Business and Fashion, on October 30, 2013, in the city of Bogota.

The forum is conducted with an aim of encouraging discussions on the latest trends of the fashion industry in the world, which has been constantly evolving, and needs a change of corporate vision, to increase competitiveness in the sector.

According to a statement issued by INEXMODA, the annually held event is a space for reflection and dialogue, which brings to the table different contexts that influences the fashion business, and analyzes the challenges and opportunities in the sector. The second edition of the forum would be a space dedicated to networking and allowing entrepreneurs to generate possible partnerships in the fashion sector.

Carlos Eduardo Botero, president of INEXMODA, said participants in the forum would get an opportunity to discuss about topics such as branding, consumption, logistics and distribution, which would be supplemented by case studies of various Colombian companies.

The Latin American Strategy Forum Business & Fashion would come up with a 360 degree strategy under the small series model, which a company must implement to become more competitive in the market, he added.

The event would be conducted under the 'New Look' initiative of INEXMODA and will allow attendees to increase their knowledge and vision of the fashion business strategically and learn about industry trends and opportunities in Latin American markets, especially the issues key to adjust to the market and devise business strategies that allow entrepreneurs to be more assertive and competitive.
