Australian owned high performance sportswear brand BLK is proud to announce it has secured its partnership with the Richmond Football Club.

Under the new agreement BLK will provide the Tigers playing list, administrative and supportive staff with cutting edge, apparel until December 2017.

WRS Group CEO Tyron Brant said the shift from KooGa which sits within the WRS Group’s family of labels to the rapidly expanding BLK brand has been well timed with both organisations well placed for periods of sustained success.

"Like the growth being experienced across the BLK brand, we are very excited by what is happening at Richmond and are thrilled to be continuing our relationship with a club which not only has such a rich history and strong standing within the AFL community, but also a very bright future which has come about through elite performance on and off the playing field." Brant said

"It was exciting to see the Tigers return to finals football in 2013 and we will certainly be playing our part to ensure the club is well placed to achieve even greater success over the next four years through the provision of technically advanced apparel."

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale says BLK's commitment to not only the club, but the extended Tigers community made it particularly pleasing to be announcing such a significant partnership extension.

“We’re delighted that WRS Group under the BLK brand, is continuing to partner with the Richmond Football Club to provide our players and staff their quality apparel, to help us achieve our best possible performance week in, week out,” Gale said.

“The sports apparel our players, coaches, staff, members and supporters wear helps to define us as a football club and makes us proudly Richmond. It’s a pleasure to have BLK continue to provide us with their quality apparel and share in helping our team to perform, as well as bring our identity alive.”

Richmond is the 5th elite sports team in as many weeks to align themselves with the rapidly expanding BLK brand which continues to established itself as a market leader in the highly competitive sports apparel space.
