Silhouette
The collection’s cut refers to the 50’s. Igor Chapurin is experimenting with lines, volume and proportions. Adding "air" on the hips he visually reduces the waist in cocktail dresses, trapeze silhouette brings graphi?s into the collection. Mini dominates in the dresses as well as in shorts-overalls.
Material
In the new collection, the designer traditionally uses silk of different textures, brocade, combines leather and cotton in the jackets, suits and overalls. Jacquard is this collection’s leitmotif. The designer also uses crystals and a hand-embroidered heron - the original CHAPURIN’s trade-mark which this year celebrates its 15th anniversary. The show has also seen a CHAPURIN and SMILE joint project’s clutch bag.
Color
White and black dominate the collection adding sculpturism into it, flashes of the noble red and silvery-blue symbolize its heroine’s dynamism.
