Porscha Starr debuts apparel line for young girls age 8-15

Breaking the boundaries of women's intimate apparel, Porscha Starr Lingerie will launch the first adolescent apparel collection in the United States. In the past retailers have failed to present a comfortable selection that is not only socially acceptable by parents but age appropriate for its target market.

The Porscha Starr, Starrlett collection, is an adolescent apparel collection designed for young girls ages 8 to 15 to illustrate the playful, fun, and "girly" aspects of the Porscha Starr brand.

Porscha Starr Lingerie, a lingerie company based out of Los Angeles California, was founded in April of 2011. Porscha Starr is well known for its sexy, edgy, alluring, futuristic, fashion forward designs. However this line is not to be confused with lingerie.

The Starrlett collection is a charming, appealing and most important an age appropriate line fashioned specifically for young girls. Each piece is catered for the various stages and activities of a young tween. For young girls between the ages of 8 to 11 pieces from this collection can be used as the perfect ensemble for dance, gymnastics and pageantry related activities.

Other features provide young girls items for sleepovers and comfortable loungeware. For the pre-teen and teenage clientele the Starrlett Collection offers a smooth transition into becoming a young lady with a fashion forward approach to the training bra. Staying true to the signature Porscha Starr style pre-teen and teenage pieces are not your traditional cotton bralette or camisole. The collection offers fashion forward, chic, futuristic designs that are useful and cater to their body type.

The purpose and vision of the Starrlett collection is to create an opportunity for mothers to feel comfortable and confident shopping with young girls and teens for adolescent apparel.

"I wanted to create mother daughter bonding time by designing a line for young girls and making a one stop shop" stated Porscha Woodard CEO and Founder of Porscha Starr. Woodard continued to say "there isn't a high-fashion brand for young girls that is fashion forward but still age appropriate, caters to their maturity while supporting their transition into becoming a young lady; that needs to be changed." Porscha Starr Lingerie presents the Starrlett adolescent apparel collection.
