Atelier GARDEUR unveils A/W trousers collection

“Key pacemakers for Autumn/Winter 2014/15 are checks exuding that trendy Brit chic. Patching makes for exciting contrasts: mixed, patched – fancies are the new basics! In the denim segment we feature heavily destroyed effects through to clean looks.” Maria Hebel, Head of Design Womenswear Atelier GARDEUR.

With its womenswear trouser collection in Autumn/Winter 2014/15 Atelier GARDEUR presents a range of varied looks: from rock-chic Brit styles and ingenious patch looks through to denim in all variations. Rich, dark colours dominate here: bull’s blood, emerald green or brown tones like cognac and golden brown in combination with midnight blue. The silhouette remains slim and features primarily in cool biker styles.

The Themes

New Tartans

Tartans set accents and feature in multiple variations: as Black Watch checks, tartans or patched with black leather – they rock. Black and red make for a strong duo and in combination with shiny metallic accessories like rivets, eyelets and decorative zippers they add punk and biker looks. Lace creates contrasts and features as prints on checks or as dinner trouser stripes.

Mix and Match

Patches know no limits: sportiness and elegance, coolness and opulence. Two-tone prints or coordinating micro-patterns team up here with plain fabrics, strong colour contrasts and material combinations. Ornamental or graphic designs with metallic aspects with a patched look make for rich decoration while coordinated or twotone jacquards create an opulent mood. Jersey mixed with animal skin looks like snake or leopard prints generate an exciting contrast of materials!

Leather meets Metallic

Atelier GARDEUR is developing last season’s successful coating theme further and is coming up trumps with new-style leather looks: laser motifs on coated surfaces are contrasted here with the latest dyeing techniques. New to the fray are imitation skins in a suede or leather look through to real leather trousers. Metallic looks continue and feature as shiny sprays and shimmering film coatings. Bronze and copper form the focal point and feature in the accessories segment.

It’s all about Denim

Denim presents itself in all its facets! The spectrum here ranges from black denim and blue denim with rock chic rivet details through to clean new looks. Destroyed effects, contrast topstitching and underlain checks are toyed with here. The successful Atelier GARDEUR Shape range undergoes innovations thanks to “Chic Shape”, a figure-forming denim in an elegant clean look and “Authentic Shape”, jeans in an authentic wash.
