For Nike, the journey to the Super Bowl is a moment that represents finding new ways to push innovation forward in order to help athletes perform their best, at the biggest moments in their lives.

As an official uniform, baselayer, sideline and training supplier to the NFL, Nike celebrates Super Bowl XLVIII with the new 2014 NFL Nike Silver Speed Collection. Built to outfit players for all conditions, this collection draws inspiration from the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the icy weather of the Northeast, and the bright lights of the city.

When the AFC and NFC Champions take the field on Sunday, February 2, they will do so in the NFL Nike Elite 51 Uniform. The NFL Nike Elite 51 Uniform creates a system of dress where Nike Pro Combat baselayer options work seamlessly with the jersey and pants, including the new Nike Pro Combat Hyperwarm Max Shield Hood – Super Bowl Edition, which provides warmth without bulk.

The Super Bowl edition Nike Vapor Shield Glove, built for extreme conditions, allows athletes to stay warm without sacrifice to grip. The highly innovative Nike Vapor Carbon 2014 Elite Cleat anchors the silver collection - built for speed, precision and unparalleled traction at the highest level.

The 2014 NFL Nike Silver Speed Collection extends from on-field equipment to include sideline, training, and lifestyle products. The titanium Super Bowl edition Nike Aeroloft Summit Jacket and matching Nike Lunar Terra Arktos Boots will provide athletes with lightweight, unencumbered warmth.

Highlighting the training products within the 2014 Nike Silver Speed Collection is the Super Bowl edition Nike Sweatless Jacket and Pant. This re-invented warm-up takes on a modern, tailored fit and will be worn by all athletes during Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day. The silver Nike Free Trainer 3.0, Nike Free Trainer 5.0 and Nike Free Trainer 7.0 provide training footwear options, while the Nike Shield Nailhead Hoodie – Super Bowl Edition holds in warmth and repels moisture.

The 2014 NFL Nike Silver Speed Collection also features key lifestyle elements designed to express the soul of football off the field. The all-black Super Bowl edition Nike NFL Limited Jersey combines on-field innovation with premium style for the ultimate fan look. While the Nike Lunar 180 Trainer SC, and Nike Destroyer Jacket complete the collection.
