Dollar General earns glory for retail training program

Dollar General is excited to report the company made another consecutive jump up the rankings of the Training Top 125 list to earn recognition as the top traditional retail training program and No. 26 program overall by Training magazine, making a 47-point jump from 2013. 
 
The annual list compiled by Training magazine ranks companies’ excellence in corporate-sponsored training and development programs.
 
Lorri Freifeld, editor-in-chief of Training magazine, put it best in describing these top performing companies in saying, “they demonstrated an unrelenting focus on effective training and employee development tied to corporate strategic goals and measurable results.”
