Black and white, the perfect duo, perhaps the two colours that have been most vested with values, meanings and emotions. This yin and yang of style is even more striking when they meet in a creative mix and match that’s all about elegance.

In the United Colors of Benetton Spring 2014 collection, black and white feature in quality pieces that flirt with classic styles and sophisticated elegance.

Women of taste opt for these discreet but never-boring monochrome pieces prefers their clothes to be more understated than flashy.

The clean-cut coat with its slight egg-shape and big décolleté-revealing revers, has a retro, ‘seventies’ flare, while the higher-necked, more enveloping coat recalls the minimalist ‘nineties’ era.  White features on slim-fit jeggings and soft tunics with romantic draping, whilst black is the choice for knee-length skirts and lace shirts that add sensuality to an outfit.

The two colours also feature on the slinky figure-enhancing dress. and printed T-shirts for more casual moments. The quality of Benetton fabrics and attention to detail are an invitation to mix these two colours in the certainty that the end result will always be a classy wardrobe that underlines the personality of a woman who loves to be remembered for her timeless taste.
