House of Fraser backs Retail Revival initiative

Pop at HoF is the first project to come from The Great Retail Revival and is focused on discovering promising new retail brands and providing them with a platform to access mainstream consumers to achieve their full business potential.
 
The not-for-profit foundation has teamed up with the country’s leading premium department store group, House of Fraser to offer ten promising retail brands the opportunity to trade within House of Fraser’s flagship Oxford Street store in a pop up market entitled ‘POP at HOF’ to be held in May this year. 
 
Retail brands will be selected through a two-stage competition with the short-listed businesses competing live in front of an expert judging panel including; House of Fraser’s COO Nigel Oddy, Dress2Kill Founder James Hibbert, Liz Houghton, Founder of Mint Velvet, Anna Murphy, Editor of Stella (The Sunday Telegraph) and Katy Young, Beauty Editor at The Daily Telegraph. 
 
The winners will get the opportunity to retail their products within House of Fraser’s Oxford Street flagship which is situated on Europe’s busiest shopping street. Nine winners will be chosen directly by the judging panel with a tenth spot given to the winner of a shortlist which will be judged by House of Fraser customers via social media channels. 
 
Winners will also be given prime ecommerce space on House of Fraser’s award-winning website and will be mentored by the experienced House of Fraser and Great Retail Revival Foundation teams to get them ‘High Street’ ready.

The Great Retail Revival Foundation event sponsors, Taittinger will be hosting a champagne event for the duration of the pop-up at House of Fraser Oxford Street to celebrate what is sure to be an exciting and wonderful opportunity for winners and customers alike.
