Superior Uniform names Todd Seigel as Director

The Board of Directors of Superior Uniform Group announced that, effective February 7, 2014, Mr. Todd E. Siegel has been appointed by the Board of Directors to be a Director of the Company.  Mr. Siegel will be one of four independent directors serving on the Board.
 
Mr. Siegel is the former president and chief executive officer of MTS Medication Technologies, Inc. (MTS), having served in both of those capacities from 1993-2012.  In those roles, he was responsible for all strategic and operational activities of MTS.  Mr. Siegel also was a director of MTS from 1985-2009 and chairman of its board of directors from 1993-2009.  Mr. Siegel previously held sales and national sales management positions with AMI Diagnostic Service and Chamberlin Corporation.  
 
Mr. Siegel is a lifetime member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) and a member of the World President’s Organization.  Siegel’s non-profit work includes The Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Pinellas County Education Foundation - Doorways Program, Temple B’nai Israel, JCC Suncoast, and Menorah Manor Nursing Home Foundation.  Mr. Siegel, who is 55 years old, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fort Lewis College.
 
"We are truly fortunate to find an executive and former director with a blend of experience leading public and private companies and a healthcare background to serve as a Director of the Company," said Paul Mellini, a fellow Director and Chairman of the Corporate Governance, Nominating and Ethics Committee of the Board.  
 
"We believe that Todd will be a valuable addition to the Board," said Sidney Kirschner, Chairman of the Board.  "His experience operating and growing businesses and knowledge of corporate governance matters will be a great help in the further enhancement and development of our strategic initiatives," added Mr. Kirschner.
