Dick's Sporting to open 25th store in Florida

DICK'S Sporting Goods, the largest U.S. based full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, invites the community of Panama City Beach to their three-day grand opening. The celebration runs Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9 at the retailer's new Pier Park North location (15700 Panama City Beach Park).  
 
On Saturday, former running back Fred Taylor will make an appearance in-store from 1:00 pm – 3:00 p.m. After winning three consecutive SEC Championships with his alma mater, the University of Florida, Taylor joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as the ninth pick overall in the 1998 NFL Draft.
 
"We're excited to be joining Panama City Beach with the opening of our newest location," said Lauren Hobart, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, DICK'S Sporting Goods. "We look forward to offering the finest quality products and a team of associates that is dedicated to exceptional customer service."
 
The new location will be the retailer's 25th store in the state of Florida and its 559th nationwide. The new store will offer over 40 in-store services performed by DICK'S certified PROS in sports and outdoor specialties such as golf, bike, fishing and team sports.
