Holii releases bright & colorful bags collection

An explosion of bright colours in a sea of monotones is a visual delight created by Holii. For a country that revels in colours, it’s a surprise that handbags are largely in classic single colours and so boring! At Holii colours are as central to our designs as they are to the lifestyle of modern India.

Holii was born from the inspiration to mirror the joy, complexity and sheer brilliance of the country through colours and innovative designs. The name ‘Holii’ was a natural choice since Holi is the most fun filled celebration of the colourful life of modern India. The use of striking reds, yellows, greens (and all the colours in between!) with one-of-a-kind designs make the brand truly unique and brings to the high street a new voice in fashion.

This year Holii brings back Baga, the bag that stirred up a storm last year, in a whole new avatar of a vertical frame bag! Still as delightfully colourful, the bag is a combination of leather and rich textiles beautifully handcrafted into a shape that is eminently stylish and uber-practical.

Mrs. Ashni Biyani, the Director of Holii says “Holii cuts across the landscape of flat synthetic handbags with its riotous colours of varied Indian hues, spotted so far in apparel fashion alone. We are very excited to launch the new look of Baga keeping intact its character which makes it an excellent example of the spirit of Holii”.

As India-centric fashion gains momentum, Holii’s approach to fashion makes it a first in the field of handbag making. A collection of unique designs made with new techniques, Holii has truly created its own design language. A celebration of the myriad shades of the country, Holii bags speak modern India, and spread the joy of colours, just like the festival.
