Columbia Sportswear Company, a global leader in active outdoor apparel, footwear and accessories, introduces their Summer 2014 collection showcasing the revolutionary ‘Omni-Shade technology. This sun-protection technology, integrated in their Summer 14 apparel, protects the skin from harmful UVA & UVB rays and has been certified by ‘The Skin Cancer Foundation’.

Omni-Shade technology is the latest path-breaking innovation by Columbia, created to prevent sun burn and long-term skin damage. Apparel and accessories with Omni-Shade technology block the UV rays through tight weave construction, UV absorbers and reflectors.

The Summer 2014 Omni-Shade collection includes a vast range of shirts, trouser and shorts for Men and a variety of dresses and accessories for Women. The full line has been designed to target the outdoor enthusiasts and people who are exposed to the agonizing sun while on the go.

Announcing the launch, the spokesperson at Columbia said, “We are glad to bring this revolutionary change in the apparel industry by introducing the Omni-Shade technology. This technology acts as a shield protecting the skin from Ultraviolet sun rays. The collection comes from our extensive investments in research for our customers to remain comfortable and protected.”
