More than 50 top e-commerce executives from across the globe will speak at the forthcoming edition of Fashion Digital Los Angeles, a web-based event that addresses issues related to the e-commerce fashion industry.

Slated to take place on May 7, 2014, the one-day conference will be attended by nearly 450 retailers, technology providers, marketing executives and publishers interested in the fashion e-commerce space.

The online event will facilitate networking among the participants and would also provide learning opportunities about personalized content creations, trends in digital disruption and how the global economy is changing the face of the industry.

Also interactive workshops, focused on topics ranging from personalized shopping experience via first-party data, customer acquisition and retention strategies, as well as the e-commerce challenges that retailers face today, will be hosted.

In addition, talks related to individualizing the shopping experience for customers and adapting content for multi-platform users through the use of social media, video and photography will also be discussed.

Additionally, sessions, highlighting the ways to replicate brick and mortar conversion rates by understanding the customer behind the screen and how to turn one-time browsers into regular buyers with customization, fitting rooms and unique packaging, will also be conducted.

The event will see speakers like Matt Wilbanks (the CEO & Co-Founder of HelpSocial), Dave Beveridge (VP – Marketing, ShoeDazzle), Vu Bui (Chief Marketing & Multimedia Officer, Ruche), Laurie Champagne (Chief Marketing Officer, Cleo + John), Ryan Gibson (Executive Vice President, RKG), Tom Niemeyer (VP – Content & Creative, Invodo) and Meaghan Rose (Chief Executive Officer, Rocksbox).

The soiree will be attended by representatives of several international names such as American Apparel, Amazon Services, BCBG Max Azria Group, PacSun, Guess, Hermes-Europe, Wren Clothing and Walk In My Closet.
