Global Desi debuts fun prints in fluid fabrics this summer

The Global Desi Spring Summer 2014 collection is inspired by the exuberance and fun vibe of the great Indian ‘Mela’ and the glamorous drape of LIVA fabric. For the uninitiated, LIVA is a new age fabric made with natural fibers from the house of Aditya Birla Group.

Made from fluid fabrics derived from natural fibres, LIVA renders a beautiful flow to the garments, providing a soft, comfortable drape that enables ease of movement – so much so that when you move, it moves with you.

Since it is sourced from natural fibers, LIVA also attributes “breathability” to the apparel, making it ideal for the summer season.

Enhanced by the fluidity and drape of the fabric, the collection plays very strongly on an array of distinctive colours like mustard, tangerine, deep blue, lime green and red. It comprises the LIVA   ‘Eliza’ Maxi dress, the LIVA ‘Ariana’ Jumpsuit and the LIVA Milena Dress, along with fluid palazzos and loose white shirts. Moreover, with tops, pants and skirts that are bright, fluid and full of ease, Global Desi along with LIVA presents a collection that is perfect for the season.

LIVA is a new age fabric made with natural fibres from Pulp &Fibre Business of Aditya Birla Group. It’s is a fluid fabric that gives a glamorous drape, soft, has shine and is extremely comfortable. LIVA is made from natural fibres /cellulosic that is derived from wood pulp. Hence, it gives a beautiful flow to the garments and enhances ease of movement. It takes the shape of the body and hence gives you perfect look. It doesn’t tug out like other stiff fabrics. It is extremely soft and has a great feeling on the skin.
