Galleria Intima's 70% space gets booked within 20 days

Early Indications of Success loom large as over 70% of exhibition space gets sold out within 20 days of show announcement at Galleria Intima 2014. Due to be held at the magnificent Grand Hyatt Hotel, Goa, on 18th and 19th August, 2014, the 3rd edition of the only intimate apparel sourcing fair in India, already shows early signs of phenomenal success as over 70% of the 20000 sq. ft. exhibition space gets booked within 20 days flat of opening bookings!
 
Galleria Intima 3.0 organized by the venerable, Intimate Apparel Association of India has drawn participants not just from India but also from the world over including countries such as Thailand, China, Switzerland, Germany, USA, Italy, Turkey and France. Thus Galleria Intima has become a significant global happening in this industry, which all stakeholders should aspire to attend.
 
So what’s so special about this event that draws industry veterans and newcomers alike? Galleria asked some of the industry insiders and received the following insights from them: “Last year when we put up a stall, we received an overwhelming response from brands, designers and independent label makers who transacted a tremendous amount of business with us. The event not only led to good revenue but also built awareness regarding our company and the kind of raw materials that we supply which are not only of superior quality but also priced very competitively.
 
The show gave us the kind of visibility that we could have never hoped to achieve on any other platform as almost everyone who is anyone in this industry, had a presence here. Which is why this year we are back and have already registered.” Says Mr. Murat Cime, Vice President (Sales) of Lila Lace, Turkey” Mr. Sunil Pathare, Managing Director from India’s leading intimate wear brand (VIP, VIP Frenchie, Feelings and Eminence) echoes his thoughts. “We registered for the event because it is a one of a kind in India. Offer India the only setback is the demand-supply gap due to it being such an unorganized sector. Galleria Intima has made stupendous progress in bridging that gap.
 
Besides, I won’t deny the fact that Goa, the destination itself has also held a major attraction for me. I love this city’s cosmopolitan vibe, delicious cuisine and happening beaches. It’s a great business and pleasure trip combined and gets a perfect 10 on both parameters. Thus coming back for round 3 of Galleria Intima seemed like a natural thing to do and we look forward to sourcing and meeting prospective vendors.” He said with a pleased smile.
