Aviraté taps Mr. Gupta as COO

Aviraté, the international fashion brand for women appoints Mr. Gupta as Chief Operating Officer. As the new COO Mr.Gupta, will be in charge of driving the top line, store profitability and creating the expansion strategies for Aviraté. In addition to this he would also be overseeing key functions such as sales forecasting, merchandising and product development.

Mr Gupta intends to use his in-depth knowledge and experience in retail to improve sales and margins by ensuring delivery of quality merchandise of the season to the customers, while maintaining utmost standards in service.

A graduate in design from NIFT and with 14 years of experience in retail sector, Mr Gupta is a stalwart in the retail industry and brings in a wealth of knowledge to his new role with Aviraté.

Prior to joining Aviraté, Mr. Gupta was instrumental in leading category management, planning and developing new business strategies for companies like Madura Garments, RPG group, Landmark group and Reliance Trends.

He’s a great communicator and listener who is keen to deliver more towards Aviraté’s mission of bringing in international fashion into India. An avid adventure sports and travel enthusiast, Mr. Gupta spends his free time indulging in these passions.
