PerformanceScrubs to open new clothing manufacturing unit

PerformanceScrubs.com, a Performance HealthCare Products company, announced the forthcoming launch of its new high-tech clothing manufacturing facility in Florence, Alabama. The new facility brings jobs back to the United States through technical innovations that drive costs down, and speed and quality up.

Encouraged by the global explosion of on-demand manufacturing and mass customization in other industries, the new factory automates and integrates order entry through delivery. Through proprietary workflows, Performance can manufacture millions of unique garments in any quantity on demand while reducing inventory costs and streamlining the supply chain. The factory model has unlimited potential in the types of garments it can manufacture.

Performance worked with Anderson Media Corporation to find a suitable location for the new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Woody Truitt led a group of volunteers from SAN through an extensive due diligence process with PerformanceScrubs.com. The PerformanceScrubs.com facility in Florence is expected to begin operation in July 2014.
