The Buckle July comparable store sales remain stable

The Buckle, Inc. announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 5-week period ended July 5, 2014 increased 0.7 percent from comparable store net sales for the 5-week period ended July 6, 2013. 
 
Net sales for the 5-week fiscal period ended July 5, 2014 increased 2.8 percent to $84.8 million from net sales of $82.5 million for the prior year 5-week fiscal period ended July 6, 2013.
 
Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 22-week period ended July 5, 2014 decreased 0.9 percent from comparable store net sales for the 22-week period ended July 6, 2013. 
 
Net sales for the 22-week fiscal period ended July 5, 2014 increased 0.8 percent to $428.4 million from net sales of $425.0 million for the prior year 22-week fiscal period ended July 6, 2013.

Known as a denim destination, each store carries a wide selection of fits, styles, and finishes from leading denim brands, including the Company’s exclusive brand, BKE. Headquartered in Kearney, Nebraska, Buckle currently operates 453 retail stores in 44 states which includes the closure of one store during fiscal June and the opening of two stores and the closure of one store this week.
