A new production factory to manufacture socks has been started in Textile Park Gilan located in the city of Sumgayit in Azerbaijan.

Textile Park Gilan, which started operations in the year 2012, has various production facilities to manufacture textiles and apparels which meet the highest quality standards.
Currently there are eight textile factories operational in the Park, which produce and process cotton in to yarn and fabrics.
These fabrics in turn are converted in to home textiles like towel and bath sets and apparels for uniforms.
The Textile Park which markets its products under the brand name of Giltex provides uniforms for the Azerbaijan National Army, the State Border Service and various government departments.
It also exports its products to neighbouring countries like Russia, Ukraine and Georgia and several Balkan countries and Europe.
