The Australian retail chain Myer has recently unveiled more than 270 looks, designed by a series of new and seasoned Aussie talents, for the spring summer 2015 season.

The latest creations include several floral, lace, monochrome and tropical print enhanced creations designed by the likes of Johnny Schembri, Gail Elliot Jacqui Demkiw and White Suede.

The summery extravaganza features a Neapolitan ice-cream coloured lace dress and some flirty minis as well as glamorous ladylike gowns by the red-carpet specialist Alex Perry.

The retailer’s new designer collection also offers jumpsuits, maxi-dresses and neoprene crafted ensembles from designer Lisa Ho, whose namesake label went into voluntary administration in May, 2013.

Fashion label Ellery’s new creations include ensembles made from leather, silk satin and organza. Replete with sunray pleats and de-bossed textures, the line includes slim fit trousers, structured bodices, sleeveless swing tops and billowing skirts.

Designer Morrison’s range took inspiration from the coastal surroundings of his native Fremantle. The key knit, organic cotton, linen and silk crafted pieces are tiered ruffled skirts, wide legged pants and flowing maxi dresses.

The 1930s Parisian styles played as muse for Aurelio Costarella who created an array of flapper style outfits, based in a palette of orchid, fuchsia, cobalt, turquoise and antique pewter hues, replete with silk chiffon, leather, print and intricate beading.

Sass and Bide drew inspiration from the whimsical works of 20th century biologist and artist Ernst Haeckel for its summer line which is adorned with prints, fluid layers, diamond checks, gingham, cocoon shapes and botanical themed embroidery.

Founded in 1900, Myer is Australia’s largest department store chain that specializes in a variety of clothing and other fashion and home accessories.
