Miroglio debuts integrated textile supply chain service

Italian Miroglio Group has launched a service which offers complete services ranging across the textile supply chain beginning from raw material sourcing to printed woven or knit fabrics; in apparels from patterns to stitching and finally also logistics.

Miroglio whose legacy goes back over 70 years says these services unveiled under the name of Miroglio Industrial are offered as a complete supply chain or in bits and pieces as per the requirement of the customers.

Miroglio Industrial assures speed of service, continuous investments in technology and innovation, a global integrated supply chain for various products and finally a service which is sensitive to sustainability challenges.

To offer quality services, Mirglio will depend on its subsidiaries and other partner companies.

For raw materials, its subsidiary Miroglio Trading specializes in sourcing textile materials; from raw goods like fiber, chips and yarns to finish fabrics printed or dyed. In case of yarn, another division Filature Miroglio, which specializes in production of discontinuous yarn, will offer tailor-made solutions.

In sourcing of fabrics, Miroglio Textile, a leader in plain and printed fabrics, relies on latest generation of rotary and digital printing technologies. It creates around 3,500 new designs per year and serves 3,000 brands and retailers globally.

For sublimation printing, it will take the services of Sublitex, one of the leading transfer paper based printers in Italy which has experience of print transfer on fabrics, hides, aluminium and other surfaces.

In case of knitting, another division - Miroglio knitting has a plant with 17 latest generation circular looms which can produce knits from any types of fiber.

For designing of prints on fabrics it will lean upon its team of 20 designers who rollout 3,500 designs and 10 new fabric collections per year.

In the apparel supply chain for purpose of pattern making, Miroglio has 90 CAD stations, 60 pattern making machines which can deliver around 200,000 patterns per year. Miroglio also added that installation of 3D modelling is in progress.

For garment assembling, it has a capacity of 150,000 markers per year and 12,000 prototypes per annum and its manufacturing process and integrated distribution can tailor any customer needs.

In logistics, it will take service of M2Log which has two logistics hubs to sort garments and fabrics and which delivers to 88 countries on 5 continents, with 11,000 delivery points throughout the world. (AR)
